Choosing the correct image size is important when creating clear and effective step-by-step documents in GembaDocs. Using the recommended image dimensions helps ensure your content displays properly across devices and remains easy to read for users on the shop floor.

All image sizes in GembaDocs are measured in pixels. The optimum size depends on how many steps you choose to display on each page. When two steps are shown per page, the recommended image size is 936 by 864 pixels. This larger format allows images to remain detailed and easy to interpret, which is helpful when showing complex tasks or fine visual details.

For layouts that display four steps per page, the recommended image size is 936 by 436 pixels. This option balances space and clarity, making it well suited for standard procedures where multiple actions are shown together but still need to be clearly understood.

When six steps are displayed on a single page, the recommended image size is 1024 by 796 pixels. This format works best when steps are more compact and visuals are simpler, such as directional cues or basic actions. Using this size helps prevent images from appearing stretched or distorted when viewed on different screen sizes.

Following these guidelines helps maintain consistent formatting and improves readability on both desktop and mobile devices. Images that are too large may be scaled down and lose clarity, while images that are too small can appear blurry. For best results, crop images to the recommended dimensions before uploading them to GembaDocs.
