How to Convert an SOP to Multilingual in GembaDocs

If your team includes colleagues who speak different languages, GembaDocs lets you convert any SOP into a multilingual. You can add up to three languages and turn on auto-translate, so every team mate gets the same clear, accurate instructions - in the language they work in.

How to do it:

1. When creating or editing an SOP, go to Advanced Options.
2. In the "Language Options" section, add up to three languages.
3. Enable Auto Translate on Save - this automatically translates all step descriptions into your second and third languages whenever you save the SOP.
4. Click Finish and Save.

Viewing the multilingual SOP

When you select "View or Print PDF", the SOP will be shown translated in all of the languages you have selected. When viewing the SOP digitally with step-by-step view, you can select which language you would like to view the SOP in.

Things to know:

• Auto-translate runs every time you save, so translations stay current when you update a step.
• Language versions are visible to all colleagues who have access to that SOP.
• The SOP works the same way on mobile and web - your team mate just selects their preferred view.
• Printed PDFs include all language versions, making them accessible on the shop floor without a device.
